Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using GamerFlick.

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By accessing or using GamerFlick (“the Service”, “the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, tournament organizers, and any other person who accesses or uses the Service.

Age Requirements: You must be at least 13 years old to create a GamerFlick account. Users aged 13–17 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent. GamerFlick does not offer cash prizes, withdrawals, or real-money gaming — coins on the Platform are a virtual, in-app currency with no monetary value.

2. Accounts & Device Limits

Each person may hold only one GamerFlick account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, gain unfair advantages, or manipulate referral systems is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.

GamerFlick employs device fingerprinting to limit the number of accounts registered from any single physical device. A maximum of 3 accounts per device is permitted across all users of that device. This limit exists to protect competitive integrity and prevent fraud.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. GamerFlick assumes no responsibility for losses arising from compromised credentials due to weak passwords or credential sharing.

3. Fair Play & Conduct

GamerFlick is built for competitive integrity. The following are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification and a permanent ban from the platform:

  • Using cheats, hacks, bots, macros, or any unauthorized third-party software.
  • Smurfing (playing under a lower skill account to gain unfair advantages).
  • Win-trading or match-fixing with opposing players.
  • Exploiting known game bugs or platform vulnerabilities for personal gain.
  • Colluding with other participants to manipulate tournament outcomes.

Harassment, hate speech, discriminatory language, and toxicity directed at other users — whether in tournament lobbies, community channels, or direct messages — violates our Community Guidelines and these Terms. GamerFlick reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts at its sole discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users or third-party game developers), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of GamerFlick and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable Indian and international laws.

GamerFlick's trademarks, logos, and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent. User-generated content (tournament descriptions, community posts, avatars) remains the property of the respective user; however, by posting content on the platform you grant GamerFlick a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the Service.

5. Coin Economy

GamerFlick operates a pure earned-coin economy. Coins are a virtual, in-app currency with no monetary value, not redeemable for cash, and non-transferable between accounts.

Coins can be earned only through the following in-app activities:

  • Welcome bonus credited on first signup.
  • Daily login bonus claimable once per calendar day.
  • Referral rewards for successfully inviting new users.
  • Tournament prize wins from the prize pools of competitions you win.
  • Admin grants issued by the GamerFlick team for support or promotional purposes.

Coins may be spent only within the Platform (primarily on tournament entry fees). All coin transactions are processed server-side using database-level row locking to ensure accuracy. GamerFlick reserves the right to correct errors in coin balances at any time, including recovering amounts credited in error.

6. Tournament Participation & Prizes

Paid tournaments require entry via coins. Before a paid tournament is published and open for registration, the organizer must lock at least 50% of the declared prize pool from their own coin balance into a tournament escrow. Tournaments that have not met this deposit requirement will remain in DRAFT status and cannot be joined by participants.

Upon verified completion of a tournament, prize coins are credited to winners' wallets by the GamerFlick platform. Prize distributions are final once processed. Any disputes regarding match results or prize distribution must be raised within 48 hours of the tournament's conclusion through the in-app “Resolve Disputes” workflow. GamerFlick's admin team reviews disputes and their decision is final.

Free tournaments (entry fee = 0, prize pool = 0) are available to all eligible users and do not require organizer deposits. Participation in any tournament constitutes acceptance of the tournament-specific rules displayed at registration.

7. Ambassador Program

The GamerFlick Ambassador Program (“Program”) is a merch-for-referrals initiative. Accepted ambassadors may receive GamerFlick branded merchandise in recognition of qualifying referral activity.

  • Applications are subject to review and approval by GamerFlick at its sole discretion.
  • No cash rewards and no monetary compensation are provided through the Program. The Program is not a multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme and confers no financial interest in GamerFlick.
  • Merch rewards are dispatched only after the ambassador has linked a verified GamerFlick account and met the applicable referral milestones.
  • Merch availability is subject to stock and may be substituted with items of equivalent value.
  • GamerFlick reserves the right to suspend or terminate any ambassador's participation at any time.

Ambassadors must not make any false or misleading representations about GamerFlick, its products, or earning potential. Any ambassador found to be misrepresenting the Program will be permanently removed.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Tournament Entry Fees: Coins spent to enter a tournament that is subsequently cancelled by the organizer or GamerFlick will be refunded to your coin wallet. Refunds are credited back to the coin wallet only — coins have no cash value and are never converted to money. Coins spent on tournaments that have been completed are non-refundable, regardless of individual match outcome.

Organizer deposits for cancelled tournaments are refunded to the organizer's coin wallet according to the organizer refund policy displayed at the time of deposit.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GamerFlick shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.

Because coins on the Platform have no monetary value and cannot be purchased, converted to cash, or otherwise redeemed, GamerFlick's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed ₹5,000.

10. Termination & Suspension

GamerFlick reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the integrity of the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Unused coins remaining in a terminated account are forfeited. Coins have no cash value and no monetary compensation is owed upon account closure. GamerFlick applies a soft-delete policy; your data is retained for up to 30 days after account closure before permanent deletion, except where retention is required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located at Bengaluru, Karnataka for any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms — or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof — that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The seat of arbitration shall be Bengaluru, Karnataka. The language of arbitration shall be English. Each party shall bear its own arbitration costs unless the arbitrator orders otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service before the effective date.
